Quality SxS hammergun??

I'm looking for a quality SxS with exposed hammers for general purpose hunting and shooting, under $3,000. I'm not going to buy multiple shotguns for different purposes.
All I can find are Turkish shotguns. Can anyone point me in the right direction or suggest a manufacturer?

No one makes a hammergun today in a sub 4k Canadian price point outside of Turkey. By a "general purpose" I assume you mean you want interchangeable choke tubes, which also eliminates all hammerguns that were made in the heyday of doubles when a hammergun was built as a cohesive item. Turkish guns are your only option unless you want to shop around for a Pedersoli La Bohemienne, which is currently retailing at or just north of 3k.
 
Used British gun. They come up on Intersurplus site now and again. You can buy an extremely high quality gun for far less than your 3k max. Might have to source 2 1/2 inch shells but you can buy a lot of ammo for $1500. My 2 cents.
 
really posting the question that the answer is already known makes for conversation other than that nothing out there
even in a non hammer gun not much out on the market for 3 k hell a person can't even buy a semi auto for 3 k that is not made in turkey

That's not really true either, you can buy a Super Black Eagle this very moment at Cabelas for 2600 taxes in with the shipping.

This is not entirely true.
There are occasionally Pedersoli LaBohiemiennne hammer doubles that turn up on the used market under 3K and new they are just under $4.000 IIRC.
I have owned three over the years and hunted them extensively. They are well worth the cost.
They are a well made gun with excellent locks and screw in steel approved chokes with browned barrels instead of blued, and color case hardened locks.
Denis also also has several used Baikal hammer guns on Intersurplus

- A nicely used older British double could certainly fit the bill for general purpose hunting and shooting...

There are other Italian gun maker who still make hammer shotguns .... not sure though if your budget of CAD$3000.- will be sufficient for those.
