Hi.

I am looking at getting into reloading. I have always had plans to do it, kind of been buying my ammunition accordingly.

I have a mini thirty, so I bought 900 American Eagle Fusion 7.62x39 thinking of burning through them at some point and keeping a reserve of 500 completed cartridges once I settle on a "sweet spot".

I have 700-800 9mm rounds. Same 500'ish on hand.

.30-06 I'm thinking of only having 100'ish

45/70 thinking of 100 of the 325's and 100 of the 405-430gr'ish.

What do you all kind of aspire to have?

Jeff

Sounds about right, plus all the parts to reload how many times that...

I don't have any great amount of loaded rounds maybe 25 to 50 rounds per rifle but I have the componants to load many thousands more. also have few hundred rounds of factory ammo in the common calibers. 308,30 06,270 35 whelen and a lot of 22lr..

I am in the process of gathering enough bullets and powder to reload every piece of brass I have. I need one more pound of powder and 200 more bullets. When I get them all loadedup, I will have almost 1200 rounds divided between .243 Win., .303 Brit., 7.62x54R., . 35 Whelen and .43 Mauser.

That is crazy. That is a massive ammo cache.

I have 10 30-06. That is enough for 10 hunting seasons
100 22lr that is 100 gophers after all. Doubt I will see 100 anyway.
I think I bought to much ammo

Sarcasm aside, how many of you grew up in a family that had just this much ammo on hand? None of us would have that little, NOW, because we are
Gun Nutz but isn't this ^^ amount what is normal for most hunters? It was for my Dad, how about yours? His was a box of 30-30 and a box of .44 mag.

There are still some boxes of cil/dominion 303 and 30-30 with 1-2 rounds missing from there if that says anything

I have about 500 rounds of 223 factory loaded, another 600 needing depriming/tumbling/swagging with 300 tumbled and swagged ready to be sized nd loaded.

Then onto 308 win, 100 lapua (ordering another 200) and about 200 federal gmm cases. I usually have about 500 bullets on hand. But with powder I got about 25 pounds squirreled away.

3000 ish of 7.2x39 Just found 600 in a spare room whoops
2000 of 40s&w
600 30.06
300 + of 300 Savage
