Que bolt re-work and trigger job question

I am about to send my 10/22 bolt to have it re-worked here: https://sites.google.com/site/quesplace/. His work is very highly regarded on rimfirecentral and is very reasonably priced. Just wondering though, he offers the Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor for an additional $10. Is this something that would be worth getting while I'm at it? I assume it will help reduce FTE's?

While the rifle is apart I am also going to send the trigger group to Brimstone for a Tier 1 trigger job. I wanted a Kidd or Timney group but the boss vetoed any big spending since the holidays are coming up. Is there much of a difference between the regular width and the full width triggers?

The extractor... yeah... I'd do it.

The trigger... basically just for looks and feel.

I bought a VQ extractor a couple of thousand rounds ago intending to replace it if I ever had a FTE. Still sitting in the toolbox.
Also got a hammer and sear - made the trigger acceptable without spending a lot of $.

I've found the VQ extractor really helped on my barrels with the tighter chambers. I went with the std width trigger from brimstone just as a personal preference.

the brimstone trigger job will do more for you than almost anything else, from what I have heard.

also, tell us how the shipping/border stuff goes on the Que bolt work. I really want to have him do one or two for me, but I don't want the bolt seized at the border and have to find another one

I sent my bolt to CT Precision for his treatment and had 0 issues with the shipping.

I really want to send my 10/22 T to CPC precision for the full blown treatment, backbore the crown, thread BBL/Rec., set back BBL, and bolt work. It just looks like such a hassle to get it done. We really NEED a 'smith in Canada here that specializes in the same services those guys offer over there! I'd bet if there was a dude here that did the same, he's have his hands full!

Randy at CPC charges a couple hundred bucks for the full blown treatment, and the rifle will basically be a one hole shooter when he's done with it! i'd LOVE to let him have a go at my 10/22T!
