Will be my first year bear hunting here in Quebec and was just curious about the marking of the license. Picked it up last fall since I figured I may spot a bear during my travels up on my trapline and may be able to get a shot at it. Anyways never ended up taking a bear. Now I'm fully committed to taking a bear while both hunting and trapping this spring. So my question is will my 2014 license carry over to the coming fall for the taking of the second bear? Just find it weird to be marked as only 2014. Guess it must otherwise why would it state on the tag for the taking of a second bear in the fall. May have answered my own question but just wanna hear from seasoned hunters what's up.

You will need to buy a liscence for 2015.It will carry over until the fall,your fall bear must be harvested in zone 10.All the info you need is here; http://www.mffp.gouv.qc.ca/accueil.jsp

Thats absolutely ridiculous. I'd be pretty pissed if I didn't have my trapping license. Either way what a waste of money. Guess I figured it was like everything else licenses become available in the fall and if there's a spring season are still good. Live and learn I suppose.
my wife and i are dong our first bear hunt this spring in 10 west we have a guide cause we dont know the area but its not costing us much as we do have a place to stay for free and the guide will be baiting for us,i hope we at least we get to see on and or shoot one

Letsgo wonder if I might see you around as my line is in zone 10w. Bears around there for sure. I'll set up signs to let you know where my traps are. I'm nice like that
