The Quebec 3 Gun League wish to invite you to a mutligun match held at Club de Tir Recreatif Valcartier. We offer two possibilities, Saturday June 7th or Sunday June 8th 2014​


The 3 Gun Match includes 5 stages and will be conducted on 2 ranges (Austere and Ortona). It requires around 215 rounds: 110 rounds for the rifle, 50 birdshot (#6, 7½, 8 in lead) rounds for the shotgun, 15 slugs and 40 pistol rounds. At some stages you will be able to choose between pistol and rifle. Full Metal Jacket and Steel Core, for the rifle, are allowed. Only Full Metal Jacket are allowed for pistol. You must have 2 safety flags for both rifle and shotgun. Those who wish can buy them on the spot for 2$.

Relay: 1 relay per day, the range goes hot at 08h30.
Registration: Maximum 30 shooters per day, minimum 20. If we don't have enough people, we will regroup everybody for the same day.
Work party: Expect to spend the day on the range (shooting and helping out)
3 categories: OPEN, tactical sight, iron sight
Cost: 45$ lunch included

The match is sanctionned by FQT (Federation Quebecoise de Tir)

  • All competitors MUST have in their possession their registration certificate for all their restricted firearms.
  • Those who are not Black Badge qualified but who have attended the formation given on May 3rd 2014 must arrived at 07h30 for dry practices.
  • If you are not members of Club de Tir Recreatif Valcartier or FQT, you must obtain a valid ATT for your restricted firearms and MUST have the invitation letter in either case for transport
  • All firearms MUST be transported according to the current regulation
  • Military camoflage/uniform is forbidden except for the TacVest.
  • Only 30 shooters per day, you shoot in the morning, work in the afternoon and vice versa.
  • When you get to the front gate, you must mention that you come for the shooting competition.
  • In order to arrive on time, consider that there is a 20 minutes drive from the front gate to the actuel range. You must also stop at Range Control to register your vehicle
  • I need at least 12 volunteer to work with me on Friday June 6th to set up the range and targets at 13h00. If you are volunteer, mention it in your registration e-mail (less than 10 peoples and the event will be cancelled)
