Using this ruler then neither are pen raised pheasants are they?
But various sportsmen associations expend a lot of time and energy each year, seeing that they get safely released into our wild places.
On the day of their release, these birds are very vulnerable and easy to get close to.

Rumour has it that there are feral pigs, just outside Ottawa that have gotten loose and creating a little heard. Can anymore confirm this?

Yes. MNRF has asked to hunters to shoot them if seen. The only silly thing is you must have a small game license to do so

as a kid i have seen on the opening too the release of pheasants that were not even able to fly. few years after we manage to have wild pheasants and we needed a tag for those wild ones.

do not know if a wild pheasant can do it in your place but i can direct you with some studies and helps in French.

shooting a pig or a pheasant that is not from the wild is not hunting for sure.

here are the facts too my friend and im trying to avoid to be rude too ...

nothing wrong to collect them if the word hunting is not used ...
