Query on Talley Lightweight Mounts - Screw specs

Much appreciate if someone could provide info on appropriate receiver screw to select for current production Win Mod 70. As per attached image, there are two options available for the standard calibre. Receiver design is for short action .....

I would assume the 8x40 option would be if you are altering the action for that larger screw size. Tally offers that screw option for their mounts.

I have never seen a factory Model 70 that was not 6 x 48... but I haven't seen a Model 70 in 5 years...

Nothing indicating larger screws on this Winchester catalog that I saw. http://www.winchestercatalog.ca/16/

Yup, I run Talleys on my Model 70 and the screws are definitely 6-48.

Thanks again. Just to be sure, I also measured the holes to confirm .860" - Talley site does clearly outline measures for various other M70s, pre/post 64 etc.
