Well thanks for the reply Mark. Derek contacted me early yesterday evening and explained about the show and how you guys work. He was very helpfull and took care of all my questions. I guess I just had bad luck when calling as I did call between 8-6 during the week.
 
Bought four very nice toys from Questar over the last few years. Always excellent service. Zero hesitation to deal with them again! Great to have them in Bantario :D

Derek is very patient and good to deal with. Spent alot of time with him on the phone buying an lmt.

I will do business with them again for sure.
 
Great Experience

I just wanted to leave feedback for the people at Questar, in particular Derek and Scott.

I had a situation arise over the Christmas holiday that put me in a tight situation. I will not rattle off the details of my unique situation but will say that the guys really helped me work through the situation. It also must be noted that they were dealing with a large backlog from over the holidays.

I felt bad about putting the guys through this kind of a headache during their busy season, but they reassured me that they understood from time to time situations arise that require some special treatment. I found the biggest help to the situation was honesty and prompt communication from both sides.

Thanks to the staff at Questar. This was my first purchase and due to this experience it will not be the last.
 
I will give them props for not locking this thread, it shows that they actually care about making a difference.

Might be a case of self-flagellation or the Hollywood mantra of 'any press is good press'

However I think just because they have tried to address the issue with our west coast friend - that they sincerely want to grow their business.

With any business there is going to be the haters - and the lovers - the majority of us are somewhere in the middle seeking an excellent product and excellent customer service...
 
Hey all

Just want to post the outcome of my purchase with Questar.

The beginning was a bit messed up trying to reach them but was not aware that most of the staff was gone to shot show 2012. I was sent an email by Derek shortly after my first post explaining to me why they were hard to reach and assured great customer service.

Well, in the end I was very pleased that Derek was patient with me and was very helpful with all my questions and concerns. I told him that my transfer was approved and he said he would check himself and if it is the case he would mail my purchase today. Not many dealers would do that.

So a huge thanks to Derek and his team for a job well done.
 
I just want to leave positive feedback. I got a little problem with my ar15 transfer and Derek helped me. He was very nice and provided me a very good service.

Hey all! I just wanted to report that the 2 times I ordered stuff from Questar it arrived at my door 3-4 days after I ordered. I had email updates from CanadaPost everytime it reached a new depot. The items arrived in excellent condition. I just got my LMT MRP 16" and I gotta say... Wow! What a beautiful rifle. Zombies won't stand an f-in' chance! LOL!
 
This will be my first purchase from Questar. Emailed them with questions about my next purchase, a Sig 226 X-Change Kit and got a response within a few minutes. Got my answer, registered on their website, purchased the item.

Impressed with the communication, the smooth website purchase/checkout/$9.99 flat rate CP and hopefully with the product, when I receive it.

Pleased so far. Took 30 seconds to order!

I cannot say enough about Questar! They are a fantastic bunch of people to deal with. I just picked up my FNP45 Tac and all I have to say is wow!!! I have had a problem in the past and it was dealt with very quickly by Scott and Derek. Seriously, Questar is amazing to deal with and I continue to shop from them with nothing but 100% confidence!

LMT Enhanced Bolt

I purchased a defective, Enhanced 5.56 bolt from a CGN member. It refused to exctract.

I notified LMT with testing data and results. They immediately offered to exchange it. I was asked to go through Questar. All communications were prompt, professional and informative from both companies.

I have my shiny new bolt. The only cost to me was the initial shipping to Questar.

Considering the channels through which the bolt had to pass, I was impressed that everything went off without a hitch. I am now an official LMT groupie.
 
I got a notification that my enhanced PWS buffer tube that I purchased from Questar might have an issue that arose when PWS switched production on their dead-blow buffers. They advised me to contact my dealer and I couldn't have been happier that I dealt with Questar.

Scott was very prompt and helpful in his communication and exceptionally fast in shipping out the replacement buffer plug from PWS.

Amazing service again from Questar, thanks!
 
Questar is great. I've made several purchases with them and they were always prompt and shipped me beautiful product. I wish they would leave positive feedback on iTrader like I did for them, but I'm sure they are busy.

I ordered an aim point pro and a few other accessories for the new ar I was getting from another supplier in the east, after deciding to go with another model of ar and finding out that the guys I was getting the gun from had all the accessories I wanted in stock and for cheaper, I was fast to send a cancellation email to questar and the company I was getting the ar that I changed my mind on. The next day (Monday) I got an email from the place I was gonna get the ar from saying no problem! Thanks for considering us regardless. Then an hour later I got another email from questar, saying my credit card was charged! I called them up right away and said that I had sent a cancellation email the previous day and decided to order the accessories from the guys I was getting my ar from. The guy I dealt with ( Derick I think ), said "no! It says right on the website that all sales are final!". I told him that there hadn't been a sale yet when I sent the email, and that nothing had been processed up until the morning my card was charged. He just proclaimed once more, "all sales are final!" I asked if there was any way to cancel it, and he told me it was already ready for shipping, I said, "and there's no way you can unpack it and refund me?" once again he said all sales are final. I hung up and had to pay an extra 60 bucks do to them not wanting to cancel the order and having their red dot priced 50 dollars over where I got my gun. All in all, the projects shipped fast, and we're well packed, but make sure 100% that that's what you want when you hit submit, especially on an expensive gun purchase.
