instead of spazzing, why not just dremel alittle bit of the base plate at a time. not that hard. it is soft plastic.

Or you could just buy the Tacpull that is offered from the manufacturer of the magazines (C-Products)... these slip on in place of the standard floor-plate and maintain the full 10 round capacity.

FWIW I think the tacti-puls are junk.
Larry sent me some (for free) when I bought 30 of his SS mags in Afghanistan. I donated them to a fellow CGN'er
I think some are getting a little too hung up on the 9 rd issue (big wip) - its not like the zombies are comign and you NEED the 10th rd - and if you do decided to go the Ranger Plate option with this - its a very limited bit of material to remove.

I must agree with that one. But for 99.9% of users they are ok.
I personally popped one off the base-plate during fast reload.

Actually the only "Distributors" of the 10rd magazines are Questar and TSE.
For the rest of the CProduct line, you have to go to TSE.
Jamming Problems
Well, I shot the Rifle portion of the Canadian IPSC 3-Gun Championships today with these Questar 10-rounders and had close to 20 failures-to-feed. I'm shooting a stock Armalite M16A2.

Where did you purchase them and exactly when did you purchase them? These could have been from the original shipment which was mistakenly sent out by CProducts with "short" springs. That caused failure of the bolt to lock open on empty mag but could also be responsible for some FFF issues.
E-mail me the details of the original purchase and we can see if that's the cause...

Props to Mark for actually pointing out our dollar is getting us a better price on something.....(after all the #####in')
Nothing to do with "#####in'"... simply a matter that we have a new shipment and this shipment was paid for at the new dollar values... the previous shipments we paid for when the dollar was at 1.19 and then 1.16
Add to that the fact that our development costs are now recouped and that puts us in a position to lower the pricing.

don't forget about us 9mm guys. we need more mags too
OK, now I am curious. Even loading to 9rds in the pistol mags I find it does not catch some unless I slam them in. So with the 30/5rd mags, I can load 4 or 5 and the mag catches easily and stays in. I have to ask, what is the reason for this.....I am thinking the cut for the mag catch in the 10rd ar .223 mags is cut lower by a small fraction (off by maybe .5mm....?) is that the case? I don't have an exact measuring tool. I may trim a little off the mag to see if it catches any easier. I am going to the range to see if the mag still feeds reliably. BTW, my 10rd mags all feed reliably. I did trim off a little of the front where the round passes over the mag body into the chamber, as I found some crimps caught on other 30/5rd mags....didn't make a difference with the 10rd .223 pistol mags.
