Questars new 10 rnd .223 ar15 mags....

well went to the range today I had 10 of these mags Most were for a buddy i only kept a couple

we tried out 8 of them in 4 diff ar15's 2 colt hbar 20"

My m16A1 clone and my 14.5 m4rgy

One mag failed to lock bolt open once and only once 1st loading

NO fail to feeds and bolt locked open every time save the one above

we put approx 500 rnds thru the 8 mags today all inserted easily and dropped free

None of the range Nazi's were out today so no old guys telling me they KNOW every law and i cant have these mags.... hopefully next week

overall I am VERY happy with these mags
 
i tried mine today as well
i bought two of them and let loose 100 rounds of winchester 223 and 100 rounds of ruag 5.56 through two different ar's
not one problem
and man it felt good to let loose more then 5 shots
 
Did you guys get these direct from Mark?,i received an email from him and got the impression i had to order from my local dealer.........whoever they are.......I'm in Ontario.
 
If your not wanting to pay PST like me and some others I ordered my 5 from CRAFM in QC, they were shipped out Saturday so I hope to have them tomorrow.
 
I think he means 'can a full mag be inserted into a ar with the bolt closed'... 30 rounders need to be loaded to 28 to do this....good question for sure....
is it really an 8 or 9 round mag...

Um, what 30 rounders are you using?

Also, stop getting your info from bad Vietnam movies.

I paid 10 bucks for XpressPost and like 15 bucks of GST. MY total was around 220 something for 5 mags shipped to me. It was still cheaper either way as it would of been about 230 from Target Sports.
 
Oh great, another "I can't quite believe it" thread.

What makes me laugh here is that anyone thinks your average member of RCMP has any clue what the magazine limits are for anything.

Where is the ruling in print?

There's some rumour going around that you must be in possession of the LAR-15 Pistol to have possession of these mags.
