Question About A Archangel Charger Kit

Does anyone know the Archangel kit for the Charger will accept an M4 style stock on the end? I like the Archangel kit but want a stock on the end of it. Has anyone tried this or knows if it will accept a stock? Jon.
 
No easy mounting of stock on a Charger Archangel

I doubt it - only based on this photo (which isn't mine - hope this isn't breaking any forum rules). But I bet it could be made to fit with some clever fabrication/modifications. Which I am considering doing if I get one of these.

I have an archangel charger stock that I will attempt to put an m4 butt stock on this weekend. I bought the stock cheap and figured i could make it work. It will require some head scratching and fabrication though. There is a cover on the end of the archangel stock (held on by the sling swivel)that can be removed, but the hole it covers is only 1" diameter. The thread of an m4 buffer tube is 1-3/16" I believe, and there isn't much material to drill the hole larger without cracking the plastic. so I will have to get creative. I will post some pictures of what I come up with


If you want the archangel with a butt stock, it would be easier to start with the standard rifle stock. Mystic precision (link top of page) lists them for $235

Any progress with this yet JTS1979? - very curious... :)

I've made some progress. Fitted a Dlask 12in barrel, and the receiver to the stock. Did a temp fit of the butt stock, but have to do some more cutting/threading before it's finished. Should end up at around 26.5" OAL when done.

Just a hypothetical question of course - say I started with a Ruger Charger ( Restricted ) added a longer barrel and buttstock to make its OAL 27" - if I wanted it to be legally Non-Restricted would I have to re-register it with the RCMP for it to be legally used as Non-Restricted - or is the the re-registration not necessary? I guess this is a basic rebarreling question but I've heard different answers from different people...
