I'll soon be purchasing a scope for a new 22Lr that is coming my way.
I'll only be shooting using a rest and rear bag.
I'll be shooting 50 and 100yds.
Just for fun and maybe a little friendly competition with a few buds.
I thought a Leupold VXll 6 x 18 x 40 with AO would be a nice choice.
As I read and learn,it seems a lot of BR shooters are using fixed scopes,
rather than variable scopes.
A lot of them seem to be in the 36x range.
I see that the Weaver T36 is popular and is not outrageously priced.
Why do you want a fixed scope over a variable and why 36X.
