Question about a sig p226 .22 conversion.

I have a conversion for my sig.


I an looking into putting an comparator/fake suppressor on the end mostly for the looks. Does anyone know the thread size I will need to get for it?

Plus there is that nut on the end. Is that needed to be used for a fake can? Or will I be taking that off to allow the compensator to be put on?

That little nut is a thread protector. The thread pitch on your barrel is metric M9x.75TPI. It should have came with a 1/2"x28TPI adapter for use with a muzzle device.

I figured it was a thread protector. But what does the thread protector have a removable thread protector on it as well?
