So,
I sold a Leupold optic to an individual on E&E. When he received it, he described a fault on the optic. Turns out it was parallax from not understanding having his eye to close. He then said it was broken and demanded a refund. One of the issues that arose was that it was in excellent condition and had been recently zeroed by a very competent gunsmith. Now this person is claiming it was a faulty product, especially when it's not. I've already refunded the money.

Was there anything else I've should've done

Nothing you could of done, I refunded the money over an idiot complaining something didn't fit his rifle, then he wouldn't send product back, there's a lot more deals that go sideways then we know about. Hope you got the scope back

He did return it to me before the refund was provided, but yet was adamant that the scope was damaged. Hmmm I think buyers remorse was a major factor

Do the rest of us a favor and leave a review noting this, so the rest of us can avoid him. You may get a bad review as well for it, but thats part of how it goes.

I hope you leave the appropriate feedback and it appears you have.

Send it to Korth for an examination , after all it does have a lifetime warranty and all.

No need to discuss the guy and the transaction any further as that will contravene the terms and conditions of the Forums Rules for dealing in the EE.

No need to be drawn further down the hole than you are already are.

So he left you bad feedback for a product that is garunteed for life?
And you took it back and gave him a refund?
You did nothing wrong and if he thought it was broke send it in.

I bought a baush and lomb balvar on here. Can't remember what I paid, i wanted it to go on an older gun as being from the same era.
Well turns out that everytime I shot it the scope went out of focus. Sent to bushnell, they sent me a brand new in the box elite 4500.
So basically I am sure I paid 150.00 for scope and got a brand new one worth at least 3 times that much.
On lifetime warranty products its more about the way the deal goes, fast payment and fast shipping.

There are people that should just stick to buying things at the Cabelas gun counter. Cause there are people that just fit right in with that crowd!!!

Well that went for a chit.
Buy a product, not happy and get a full refund and then
leaf a negative?

Well there is nudder one on the Looky chit list.....................

Buyer's remorse or should never buy used.. Even after a full refund he still left you a negative feedback?? WOW
I'd do everything possible to have the negative reversed

That's too bad the sale went bad. I agree. Buyers remorse. If it was faulty he could have sent it in for warranty repairs. If he's that incompetent and holds his eye too close and blames the scope, perhaps he shouldn't be shooting a gun in the first place. Just my 2 cents.

Me too.

I left negative feedback for a guy because we agreed to meet, then he never showed up and didn't answer his phone. Turned out he sold it to someone else without ever telling me, and I spent two hours driving across town and back (plus waiting for like 45 minutes).

In return he left negative feedback for me. Both mine and his f feedback ended up deleted.
