Question about Bullpups

How come guns like the Tavor and that gun made by norinco is legal...but the bullpup style stocks for the 10/22 are illegal....I know that that laws regarding firearms in Canada are silly...but this one doesnt make sense

Any Stock that Converts /Modifies an existing Firearm to use a "BullPup Designed Stock is prohobited.

It's all how they worded it. They didn't want people using those conversion stocks, so they banned those. At the time, they also banned all existing bullpups by name.

How ever, the geniuses that they are, didn't think to ban bullpups in general so future bullpup firearms would be illegal.

I think the exact wording is removable bullpup stocks are prohibited. so as long as the bullpup is integral to the operation of the firearm its legal
