Try switching powders. This is a really really fast round and I can only speak from my own experience but fast rounds and factory barrels tend to foul. I used Norma 203 in my 204 and it was terribly dirty and affected fouling. BLC2 was far better.

The 204 is a real sweetheart but hard on barrels. I tend to simply replace the 204 guns rather than the barrels since the cost/life is pretty close. I can't help but wonder if you gun has more miles than advertised.. I would work with what you have. Some of your groups sound really really good.

If it were me, I would conclude I have one of the few Savage factory barrels that just won't perform well enough for my liking.
Switch it out for aftermarket....you're choice as there are more good ones than bad ones...and move along.
Life, and range time, is too short to shoot a rifle with a shi**y barrel....
