Question about CZ 75 magazine

That is normal bases plate for the mag if you don't like them check around im sure there aftwrmarked ones out there

I actually prefer Mec Gar magazines for most of my aftermarket magazines. Mec Gar are OEM magazines for a number of pistol manufacturers like SIG.

Just ordered 5 Mec Gar mags for my Shadow 01, they work great AND are .40 so 13 arounds instead of 10. SFRC had a sale on em but not sure if it's still on.

Interesting, I had heard about that and tried 9 in my oem cz .40 mags, but did not hold in the lips are too wide. So the mec gar .50 mags work do they. Have to order some.

My recommendation is Mec Gar magazines for CZ75 type guns. Then add the Mec Gar +2 base pad extensions, they have excellent feel and make reloading the gun faster. Also their assembly method is superior to the factory CZ plastic base pads.

I don't know of any basepads for the old factory-style mags, (maybe someone here does?), so I'd sell those ones, or save them as spares, use them in the rain, etc. Buy Mecgars from now on. :)

I've never seen aftermarket base plates for the factory CZ mags. The cheaper metal base plate mags have aftermarket available.

there are aftermarket basepads for those mags, but they are expensive, usually more than the same idea for the better MecGar mags. Honestly, I'd not waste my money on outfitting those mags with basepads, keep em as is, and spend the money on some new MecGar (you'll spend less on new mags than you would on basepads for those mags)
