Not sure if this is the right category. But I wanted to ask if anybody has a CZ 858 and what they use it for. I am mainly a handgun guy but I like the look, and feel of these and am looking to purchase one. But not sure what I could use it for. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Get the non-restricted, some soft point ammo and go hunting! Or....... by the surplus by the case load for dirt cheap and shoot till the barrel heats up and the targets fall apart....... Then get terribly addicted and start modifying it into a pimped out black look alike rifle with red dot scopes, lazers, touch pad lights, and so forth. There is no limit! Buy one and enjoy it! As much fun as my pistols and that is what I shot exclusively prior to the CZ-858.
I generally use mine for shooting stuff. Sorry--that was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
Unlike handguns they are unrestricted, which means more fun in gravel pits etc. Also very cheap milsurp ammo.
