In the manual for the Swiss Arms black special (550) in regards to the Diopter drum it reads:

"The Diopter drum can be set to positions "1", "2", "3", and "4", corresponding to firing ranges 100m, 200m, 300m, and 400m.
The positions marked in white correspond to aiming point = point of impact.
(I understand up to this point)
The RED "3" position corresponds to the aiming point "Black 6" at 300m.

I have no idea what they are talking about with this "Black 6", I get it up to the point when they mention that, I see the red "3" it's just over top of the white "4", but "Corresponds to the aiming point black 6 at 300M" means nothing to men, I don't get it.

Can anyone help me understand this?

Thanks

Steve

"black 6" means that you have the black dot of the target sitting on top of your front sight, aiming just at the six o'clock of the black dot.

It is just to shoot with a 6 O clock hold (u can google that) at 300m position for is for 400m with a regular point of aim. Or 300m with 6 o clock hold.

I get it now.

Thank you both, and I also totally understand what you meant now, aim at 6 oclock, .. haha

Just telling me to aim slightly low would have been fine, maybe just say, "aim at the bottom most edge of the target"
