Question about getting rear sight off of CZ SP-01 Shadow?

Hi, trying to replace the stock rear sight with an upgraded piece but unsure whether it slides out from left to right, or vice versa? Have already taken out the set screw but the sight itself seems wedged really tight into the dovetail groove, and want to be sure before I try and force it out the wrong way.

I'm not sure if this helps but my CZ97 rear sight was removed by drifting it to the right.

If you look at carefully, you should be able to see the "drag marks" on the slide indicating the direction in which the sight was installed. Use a magnifying glass if your eyes are like mine. If I remember correctly, CZ sights are installed from left to right when viewing from the rear of the slide.

When I put a set of aftermarket sights on a 97B some time ago they said to go from right to left on the rear one.

no, no they don't. Rear sight goes off right to left. install from left to right.
