first, what class are they if i was to purchase one? If its a under barrel one then is the OAL the length of the thing and the gun it is mounted on?

second, where in the world do i get 37 or 40 or w/e shells for them??? and what tyoes are legally available (APHE?)? and how much are they???

third, are they mostly 1913 mount compatible? so even if it says for m-16 mount is it possible to mount on a, say PE- 90 or a tavor (with the longer civilian barrel of course)?

fourth, where can i take these beast out, if they are allowed out at all....

Not classed as a firearm. Don't need a PAL/FAC to buy one. So OAL doesn't matter or what gun you put on it.

Some you can get a RAS mount for it, to mount it to a rail system. Harder ones to find.

Only thing you cannot fire is HE ammo out of it, Or those 12 Gauge Adapter, Prohib ammo. Recent law making them harder to import into Canada.

You can fire it any wheres because its not classed as a firearm, but that doesn't mean you can shoot it in the City....

I don't know about restricted but I do recall them being put on some sort of "Controlled Item" list. Either way it's retarded, with out the ammo it is useless except for those do it yourself home loading kits etc.

Well a launcher looks nice, and i'm sure they are fun to use. Also, imagine if a robber sees that a 40mm Grenade launcher pointed at them, granted, any gun might do the trick, but for the better equipped ones, this will seal the deal on surrendering.

The US cannot export them because they are a speciality weapon classed along with grenades and silencers.

Other countries could send here but our import laws make it extremely difficult. Also as of late they have become restricted firearms.

Just a little Tim Bit, IF you "could" use firearms in Canada for Home Defence and IF you "could" use 40mm HE, It wouldn't be the best of choice.

1. Well one it takes like 15M for 40mm HE to ARM
2. Flash from firing the 40mm would blind you as well
3. Catch Half your house on fire
4. Slower to reload

5. JUST PLAIN STUPID....

If you just want to scare someone maybe you can get a fake or airsoft version.

BTW there is a 37mm cobray launcher for sale in the EE, I's surprised no one has bought it yet.
