OK, so I'm going for whitetail in sask (I'm an alberta resident). Now I know they have the three tag system there. If I were to quarter my deer in the field there, am I required to leave the scrotum/tail attached to one of the quarters(with the meat tag)? Or, with the head tag to ID that the meat/skin is from the same deer, do I just need to hang on to the head(meat tag still on a quarter)?

Alternatively, If I leave the scrotum and tail on for proof of ###/species, do I need to keep the head or can I dispose of it in the field?(like in AB)

alberta's one tag system is so much easier!

I agree this three tag thing is stupid. All one should need if proof of species and gender if it is a male only tag. Four quarters and the horns should be good enough. And while I'm at it I think the transport rule for fish is ridiculous. Every fillet must have a square inch of skin left on. If you can't tell a jack from a walleye from a perch and know there are two fillets per fish you shouldn't be a C.O.
