Hi there. Kinda new here, not sure if this should be here or in main battle rifle section or in general firearms so if this is the wrong spot I apologize in advance.
Okay, my question applies to those who either own a PTR-91 (any model) and/or those who have fired a few shots through them. I am interested in getting one but cant justify (to the wife) spending the money on one right now. Say about 5 months from now.
The trigger pull is just over 11 pounds. Those of you who own one, how do you feel about the heavy trigger? What I mean is, have you ever (because of the trigger) wished you had gone with something else? Or do the other attributes of the rifle balance it out?
Those who only shot one, what did you think of it? Would you buy one or would the heavy trigger keep you from buying one.
To anyone, is the gun worth it to buy and then have the trigger weight lowered? Or keep it the way it is?
