question about matches.

ok i got my black badge a couple weeks ago and ive been checking out the website trying to find a match i can get to(ontario) but i was curious about sign-up, some have the online registration so their easy enough to figure out but what about the other ones? do you have to sign-up or do you just show up and hope theres room left?

The small matches I've been going to (Sharon, Lakeshore Arms, & Barrie) I've just been showing up. Usually that works out okay. But then you occasionally end up in situations like I recently did: showed up to Lakeshore and found out that despite being listed on the IPSC Ontario website, the Lakeshore matches for this winter are all canceled. Not that big a deal for me, as I'm local, but would have been a bit more of a deal if I had just come all the way in from Coburg.

Years ago, there was a policy that you could not signup for matches until after 6:30pm by phone on the monday night two weeks before the match with a call to the club rep.
So if you had a BF you didnot get the spot or any spot for that matter in some cases.
It did keep things interesting.
 
Madness, did you fall off the bike or the bookshelf again, it is spelled twoshoes.

Not down here, we do everything different in Sin City. For the record I've never fallen off a bookshelf, I've ran into them and fallen on them but never off one.
