I'm having trouble finding barnes bullets anywhere. My loads are all developed and I've got great to excellent results on paper at the range and on game. Its a proven performer but due to problems finding these bullets I'm considering a switch to the Hornady GMX line. They have just about every bullet caliber in the weights I'm looking for except 1 and availability isn't a problem.
How do these bullets perform on game at normal hunting distances. Say sub 300 yards. I've seen lots of comparative testing videos but those videos are rarely/never done on gel at 200+yards. Any expanding bullet at 20 yards will open up fully and most videos only show point blank terminal performance.
