Question about mounting an EOtech on a C7

So,

Has anyone in the CF here mounted an EOtech (with ARMS base, picatinny cross bar) onto their C7 (with weaver rail)? The real question is what is the best way to go about grinding down the cross bar on the mount to allow it to fit on to a C7.

You need to mill abit of metal of the cross bar on your eo-tech.

If your in Petawawa "i'll do it for free with the mill :)"
 
He could take it apart and file the cross member "but you will void the warranty of the sight"

Tell him not to file his C7 :eek: thats a big charge

If he is training in Pet he can drop it by my shop or home

I think he's actually headed up there tomorrow. He picked it up really cheap (it is genuine though... he brought it to me asking if I had any suggestions on a good way to do it). I don't think he's that concerned about the warranty.
