Question about people renting land

The land is in my name and my siblings right now. I do not want to kick the renter off of the land, he paid for the fence, and he also built a dug out. His father was very good to my uncle.

Also I do know about the bison wrecking the land, the same guy wanted to rent a 1/4 from my dad. Dad asked me if it was OK with me, and I told him heck no, so he never rented it too him. Thanks for all your guys help!

Are "improvements" part of the lease / rental agreement? If not, then when the lease / rental agreement terminates he has to either remove the "improvements" and repair any damage. Any "improvements" that are not removed or repaired are considered abandoned and become the problem of the land owner.
Or he could claim sweat equity or that the improvements give him certain rights, or he could ask the property owner to purchase improvements.
Much depends on how the lease agreement is worded.

If the land is in your name and there is no one living there, you should have right of access. Talk to your renter.
