Does anyone know anything about these sights, and are they any good?

I just got a Ruger Mini 14 Ranch in a trade and it has an interesting set of sights.
The rear sight is a peep sight, with an eye piece like you would find on a Williams sight. It is 45mm long and 15mm wide, made of an alloy, the peep sight has an adjustment for height and windage. It attaches to the rear by removing the old sight and sliding the base of the new sight into the dove tail. There is also an allan screw to lock it in place.
The muzzle has a 3 1/2" or 90mm slotted steel flash guard with 5 slots, the bottom doesn't have a slot like the later AR 15's. The sight mounted on it has a circle with a pin or sight blade mounted inside of it similar to an H&K, but no adjustments. It attaches by removing the original front sight and sliding this assembly on and using a longer pin. It also has an allan screw that locks it in place, and take up any slack.
