Long story short a friend has a bunch of reloading odds and ends and a lot of brass. She doesn't know a whole bunch about this sort of thing and is going to get rid of it at some point. Some of the brass and ammo is in old boxes. Some of the boxes are in good shape and some not so much. I think some of the brass may be worth a bit (9.3x62 Norma once fired) and some is very common (270 win Winchester brass). SO here's my questions.
The common brass. Do you deprime and clean it? Resize it?
Is brass in old Dominion boxes worth more (270, 30-06, 222)?
Are the old Dominion Boxes worth something? Or loaded ammo in the old Dominion boxes (222)?
Norma once fired in boxes (9.3x62, 222). Worth a little extra?
Here's what I think. All the common brass should be sorted by brand and sold in bags of 100. Any loaded ammo in Old boxes should be sold together. Old brass in boxes?????
What about Yellow Super X shot shells or Imperial (stuff from the 70's and 80's) worth more than sticker price?
One last question. If dies have a bit of rust on them what are they worth (BCBS 2 Die sets) $25??
I realize there is a lot of questions. any advice would be appreciated.
