Question about selling prohibs

I must be honest, since may 1st 2020, I haven’t followed anything ar10/15 law wise.
Was just wondering, if the newly prohibs can be traded like the existing 12.x class can?

Going through a huge downsize for lack of interest and personal reasons, if I can privately sell my AR15 and Stag 10 I would do so.
If my option is turning them in, I don’t need the money they will rot here before turning them in for $$$.

Was IRG not offering a service where they could export anything back to the US that was originally imported into Canada through them? I might be mistaken but I seem to recall that being an option for their customers. Everyone else is sol from my understanding.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No AR can be exported to US.
 
Meh if people write me they will be disappointed, not doing anything unlawful, and have already parted with mags and scopes.

Will keep everything in hand until lawfully able to sell it would seem.

Each police force would be different. If transporting to police you should be covered under the amnesty and wouldn't need an ATT. Assuming of course the prohibs in question are in fact covered under the OiC Bans.
 
Police station is a definite nono
Unless I’m offered full value for my ARs plus inflation since the time I got them.
Very unlikely the buy back will send me 2-3K per AR, rather let them rot than undersell them to the smelter.

At present it is OK to have your head stuck up your fundamental orifice because nobody knows what is going on and it is unlikely that we will know for sevearl months at least

In the mentime why don't we start a lot more uselss threads asking the same obvious question that cannot be answered........
 
I’m not a useless thread type of guy usually.
Was out of the loop, search results didn’t bring anything up, did thread, got answered, this thread could be locked down now for all I care.

Cannot be sold to private citizens.
Can be sold to businesses licensed for prohibs.
Only other options is turned in for no value to police. (please don't do that... they record it as a seized weapon for annual reports)
