Question about Simunition rounds

The USCG Shot each other with the simunition rounds. It does leave a mark if not protected, but they all wore paintball helmets and possibly some sort of body armor (it was 2300 when they were all dressed up, and with the lights all out for the whole thing...)

Ouch! Good points that were left unmentioned piperdown. So true; sim makes lethal and non lethal ordinance. The 380 will fit in some. The stuff we use is a different company called airmunition out of Switzerland.

I just did a Google for them, and their website is down. Are they still around?

Have you heard of Nrange or UTM ?
They are both related, Nrange is Aluminum pellets fired out of a sub-calibre barrel, while Ultimate Training Munitions is the marker version.

If you fire the sim round in a regular pistol; if it fires, it will bulge the cartridge and jam but not likely to damage the firearm.

Yep, I got the jam from hell in my pistol. I needed a brass rod and a hammer to clear it.
