Question about target size for precision Rimfire matches.

What size are the targets for the 300 or 350 yard ranges?
Would anyone happen to have a course of fire for one of the Rimfire matches? Distance of target, size of target and what position they were shot at?
I’d like to get a bit of practice in before my first match.

I think I have found the size for the 300 m target at 9”, 1/2” for 75 m.

Target size is very generous at those distances.

That's a pretty generous target at 300m.

My suggestion would be to practice with smaller targets than at the competition.

I made an 8x8 plate and welded a 1/2” bolt to a piece of rod on a swinging target.

That will make for a very challenging target at 300. Excellent training.

Went out shooting today. Only went to 200 ish yards. Maybe a little more. My oldest daughter and wife both hit the 8x8 plate on their second shot. To say the least I was quite excited for them. They were using my 10-22 vleh, mostly stock. Bolt buffer chamfered bolt and Kidd cocking handle. It has a Cabela’s Rimfire scope with the holdover reticle. I also hit it with my mark2 with a Tasco 2.5-10 x 42.
The 1/2” bolt at 75 yards was a lot harder to hit than the plate. We did hit it, probably 1 for 10 shots. The plate was probably 7 or 8 hits for 10 shots
We should be able to stretch out to 300 so next time out we’ll give that a shot.
I imagine it will be a lot harder than shooting at 200.
Can’t wait to get the T1X out��
