Question about THE CORE

when i lived on the island it was offered in my school as an extra cariculer thing IIRC it was like 50$ if you already have your PAL and have some basic knowaldge of safe hunting practice and outdoorsmanship you might be fine with just challenging the exam but i always recomend take the course
as its been 10+ years since i took it and things may have changed a bit
 
If you were raised with hunting I would say it is worth it to challenge the test with just some studying, but I also think the course has merit. If you were not raised with guns or in a hunting environment then it is definately worth taking it. $100 is about average for the 8hr course out west, over 2 days usualy and includes the testing.
 
I am not sure what the course is like in BC but I think it is always worth taking the course everyone can always learn new things.
