I have myself one of these revolver's and now finding the need to sell it. I'm thinking about selling it but there is almost no info about these pistols in terms of value. Does anyone have some info to help me decide a fair price for it??? It was made in 1974, blued with a 7 1/2 barrel. Condition I would put it at about 90-95 percent and is like new, seen very little action.

They are a nice gun for sure. I had a stainless version that I sold about 4yrs ago, and I think I got $400 then. If there were parts readily available they probably would be more sought after but I think you are still going to be in the 4-500. Whats the inscription on the grip heel? Some are more sought after than others depending on whats marked there.

Maybe try an American Gun Forum....Americans in general love their guns. I bought a Great Western Arms Colt clone made in 1954 in .45Colt at what I thought was a reasonable price and had an offer from down south for more than twice what I paid for it...delivered.
I started a thread about exporting restricted firearms to the States but was met with silence, it would give you an idea how desirable the gun really is.

The 1776-1976 dates tell us it was probably a 1976 revolver. Could just be the grips I suppose, but lets assume it was the gun. They are basically in the same class as the Ruger Super Blackhawk in terms of strength. Good guns, but as mentioned its hard to get parts for. Still, you shouldn't need many. I would say its worth $500 or so. - dan

The date of manufacturing was Aug 17 of 1974 as it's stamped right onto the frame.

I too heard that they are a very well made and strong revolver are on par or better than the Ruger's.
