Question about the sks rifle

It is actually necessary to buy 4 SKS's...
One Chinese, one Russian, one Yugoslavian, and one to modify/desecrate.
Oh, but then you'll want to keep those clean and unfired, so you'll need another Chinese one to be a beater/shooter...
However, it was originally a Russian design, so clearly you'll need another Russian one to be your every day shooter.
Your every day shooters will wear out, so you need just one more for when that happens.
So you need seven, actually.

And that's only as a starting point.. You may wanna have your shooters in different configurations, so one day you take one with a Dragunov stock and a scope to the range, next time around you take a Crapco'd SKS with a red dot, after that, you take it back to the old school with wood and irons (need a spare for each one of them).. You also need a few in case you think of some other projects.. And what about the ones you wanna take huntin'?
I just buy them in bulk so when the zombies come I can have 20 guns loaded with 5 rounds. Instead of re-loading I just throw the empty gun away and grab a full one. The SKS itself costs about as much as a tapco 5/20 mag anyway.

They're cheap everywhere, $190 or so...Wholesale Sports for one...
My LGS just got in some Ruskie SKSs. He ripped open the shipping box and handed me one to check out... drowning in cosmo, but it was an unrefurbed 1950, with Tula star & date stamped right onto the original birch stock, along side the serial #. Hadn't seen one like that before. A real beauty. $200 but I didn't buy it.

No; the Yugo's are only available on the used market now as far as I know, you can find 10 packs in a crate though, not sure if they are Russian or Chinese or both though $1800.00 is a little too much for me.
