Question about the SR22

hey all

Got a question about the sr22. thiking of picking one up for a plinker/ practice rifle (cheap ammo) and was wondering since it's the 10/22 action, can one replace/ upgrade the barrel with another 10/22 barrel say from Dlask arms? i ask cause i would liek to make the rile as close to a legit ar as possible, flash hider and all (not to mention it looks tacticool) how difficult of a swap out would it be?? any info would be great! Yes you can. Any barrel made for the Ruger 10 22 can be installed on the rs22. Bull barrels included of course

also the sr22 barrel doesn't come threaded does it?

I bought a new 16" barrel, a 7" quad rail floating handguard and a new stock for my sr 22, I might be retarded but I find extremely difficult to take the rifle appart. I tried so hard the little blood vessels inside my hand started to turn purple. The only thing I did so far was changing the grip (I know I m good). I m going to the gunsmith tomorrow.
