Currently live in a house which is registered as my principle residence, my guns (non restricted) are locked in a safe bolted to the floor only i know the combo to, a relative and a friend also live here., they do not have a pal.
I am moving into a condo temporarily for around 6 months, after which I'd be moving into a different house than the first. For reasons that are not relevant, i am unable to bring my firearms to the condo. I do not plan on changing any of my govt addresses for this 6 month move.
Would i be skirting the law here and risking my PAL if i left them at the original house listed as my principle residence? Worst case scenario i haul my safe and gear to a buddies house in the mean time, but i'd rather not.
