No,he got it all wrong and he's all mixed up.

He got a letter from the SQ stating that if he wants to keep his 12.6 revolver, he has to join a shooting club or applied for the collector test. otherwise he cannot keep it and he has to 1) surrender the gun to the Gestapo for destruction, 2) sell it to someone who has the 12.6 class on his license, or 3) deactivate the gun.

So hes got 3 choices, if he want to keep the gun he now knows what to do, if he doesnt want to keep it and if he want make some money out of it he can sell it right here in the EE section of this forum.
