Question - Colt Gold Cup National Match

Here's a question for those with a little expertise in the Colt Gold Cup National Match pistol.
I recently purchased one, serial #FN348XX, and took it apart and do a little cleaning and lubricating.
I remember reading in a few places on the net that these pistols were fitted with a full length guide rod as a standard feature.

Is this the case for all Colt G.C.N.M. pistols?

Any advice and shared experience is much appreciated.

I had two Series 80 GC's and neither had a FLGR.

I don't believe Colt has made a GoldCup either 70 or 80 series with a full length guide rod.

It is strictly an "after market" item.

That said I like them & have the Wilson model on my GC.

I've had a few Series 70 CGNM's and a Series 80 GCNM, none of which came with a FLGR. I usually put them in my 'shooter' 1911's, though, as an after-market item...
