Hey all,

I just finished watching The Punisher for the first time in a while, kinda corny at some points but still one of my favorite movies :)

In the movie, he uses 2 custom 1911 model handguns and kicks alot of ass with them!

I was thinking of getting a 1911 style pistol in the near future and after I saw this movie....well I want to make it near identical to the one he uses.

Here's a picture of them:

Just wondering what kind of 1911 I need to buy and where I would have to look to buy a compensator and get it customized like that.

Thanks in advance

hell you could do that with norincos!, just swap out small blued parts for stainless and get a stainless compensator.
kinda like what I did with my sti spartan. however I'm not a guru, so I guess you can't beleive me

My God, what an abomination.... Someone didn't do that to a pair of Colts, did they?

NAA.

Looks that way NAA......

I reccomend a couple of Norc's for this kinda build. If you F-UP, it's not like you are out a piss load of $$

The funny thing is I only see about $400 worth of after market bolt-on parts..... My norc., when its done, is going to be pretty close to that, except for the Hammer and trigger.

Cheers!

Breaks my heart, but that's only because I'm a bare-bones 1911 fan. My Colt still carries the spur hammer and no extended beavertail. Just a couple of series 80's with some milled fronts, bobbed hammer, extended grip safety, 3-hole aluminum trigger, flared magwell/MSH, wedge sights, and an atrocious set of comps. That's a pricey build on a Colt, so like said above, just grab a Norc and go wild.

Heck, if there were no stainless parts and all park'd...I'd have one in the safe. My new age BBQ gun. Goodluck with the build.

Just do us '1911 gurus' a favour.... if you are going to do it, just don't ruin a couple of Colts.... ;)

NAA.

Don't worry NAA, I won't ruin a colt for the build...I think like everyone has been saying, i'll get a norinco (not a kimber Ian :p) and go from there...when I can't fit it into my budget hahaha

I can see at least four things I don't like:

-Compensators
-Extended slide stop
-Stainless controls on a blue/black frame
-Forward slide serrations

If you're going to do it, do it to a Norinco.

hey, i dig all these things! :D

If you care, such a Norinco cannot be taken to the United States (in the manner that other manufacturers' firearms can).

Keep this in mind before you commit to a Norinco.

commitment to a norinco is not such a big commitment given their price
