Question for Korth

I was in Cabelas the other day and was looking at a rather expensive leupold VX-3 8.5-25X scope for my new rifle. Price seemed reasonable but the salesman hinted that they don't go through the Canadian distributor(Korth?) and that's was prices were 'good'.
After all I've been reading here, should I not buy from them? What if I need work done or want some changes made?

I thought only Korth imported scopes were 'authorized' dealers? Maybe the saleman was misinformed?

Cables as well as Bass Pro probably bring in stock from thier US based warehouse.

Cabelas.ca DOES get there leupold scopes from Korth. And they do not carry the 8.5x25.

Get the serial # and call leupold to verify.
