Like the title says I have a question for quebec restricted owners

Are you all member of a gun club? Meaning do you have to with bill 9?
I'm trying to get a straight answer from the CEO of "la federation quebecoise de tir" but i haven't heard anything yet. I want to know if we as quebecers have to be members of a shooting club to own restricted with all the whoopla of bill 9 ( must justify its use and the frequency of its use.) So far i heard that quebec is the only province with this bill 9 thing.

According to Law 9, in order to own restricted firearms in Quebec you must:
1) Be a member of an approved shooting club.
2) Shoot at least once a year.
Failing that, you will not be issued a permit to transport restricted firearms, and you may be told to either conform to the rules or dispose of your restricted firearm(s).
You will not lose your RPAL, but the Quebec Firearms Officer is in control of this special law.
We may thank Jean Charest for Law 9, passed in the aftermath of the Dawon College tragedy when Anastasia DeSousa was killed.
I am an instructor for Law 9, and I will NEVER let anyone refer to it as "Anasatia's Law".

Shame that because of some crack head on a rampage poor law abiding shooters have to foot the bill.
Like you said thanks to our politician and the emotionally controlled majority we now have to spend a yearly subscription to some gun club to keep our posessions :/

So wrong in so many ways...

This should be a sticky for all quebec gun owners it gets so confusing when one province has it's own set of laws

"...According to Law 9, in order to own restricted firearms in Quebec..." Technically and legally not within Provincial jurisdiction. Quebec included. However, it'd cost a fortune to take it to court.
Charest, of course, was a Mulroney cabinet minister who became a Provincial Socialist F**k. Politicians who change Parties like that, have no principals.
