Update Post 9 ...

So if hypothetically speaking someone ordered a batch (100 pieces) of new M76 Rifle Grenade Launchers for the rifles and brought them into Canada, would anyone be interested in buying one for around 40$ plus shipping?

(Sample Picture, for representation)

It would be my actual costs to get them in Canada plus shipping only. This is NOT a group buy, nor is it me trying to make money, but asking if anyone else was interested before I acquired one for myself.

i've never even seen one for sale on the us boards- lots of m7s, but no m76s - the other side of the coin is that you need the complete m15 sight set-up to even make a collector set-up, even with dummy grenades- it would depend a great deal on price point and whether you run into gov't trouble

I don't see how the Government can be a issue, its a harmless attachment considering "real" (ie everything but the practice/dummy versions) rifle grenades are illegal. And many rifles out there either come with them built in (such as the SKS and AR-15's w/A1 or A2 Flash hiders). It cannot be used in any way shape or form on its own either. :)

M15 Sights are a issue I agree, but one step at a time. ;)

I would be interested in one if you could give me a rough price. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

what i'd LOVE to see is the LINE THROWING ATTACHMENT - the ones that are used to throw a pilot line between ships before the real cable comes across

I am currently trying to see if I can get pricing out a order of 5 as the minimum order. However I have asked them to price out a order of 15 if there is enough interest here to go ahead with that instead.

I'll respond here whether or not I get the go-ahead from this supplier and what they are planning on charging me. :D

ok at $40 I'm definitely interested! This is no doubt going to strike some as a stupid question, but forgive me; I'm new to grenade launchers ;) ... how does this thing attach? I can't find a pic anywhere of one mounted.

This is the closest pics I can find: It's a Garand with the grenade launcher attached along with a grenade.

The grenade launcher attached to the muzzle and if I am not mistaken it requires a flash hider with bayonet lug to attach the launcher.

In real life to use the launcher you will need special ammo (blanks) designed for the weapon to propel the grenade (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).

Added: Sorry Dimitri was uploading the pic to photobucket and this post was before I saw your respond to op!

This is Different's Rifle ....

And a close up of the M76 Rifle Grenade Launcher and M15 Sight combination attached to the rifle.

There are special rounds for it. Blanks work to shoot golf balls with the golf ball launchers, and although rare, just FYI but they make bullet trap models (All the "new" current ones in use in NATO are of this type IIRC) as well now that use a standard issue 5.56mm NATO or 7.62mm NATO FMJ round to launch it. However I never seen a practice version of one for sale to the average person due to them being "current" and not surplus.
