Question for the Marlin guys

I've been looking at the different models of the Marlin levers. 336W etc..
There is a significant difference in prices but is there a significant difference in quality, accuracy and durability or is it just finishes and options like checkering, forend caps, micro groove vs ballard etc..

I just need a good bush gun and if I can save dollar all the better.
