Question for the Marlin lever experts.

Just bought a Marlin 444ss. I've been looking at sights and other goodies for my new rifle and was wondering. When the 444ss is not mentioned, do you go with what fits a 336 or a 1895?? On which frame is the 444 built on?

Well done and enjoy! If you go with a scope, make sure it has long eye relief ie. Leupold or red dot.
