Dear CGN Mods,
Not complaining, just questioning - With the reloading category getting so many hits on so many subjects, what's the chance of getting sub-categories for different calibers?
I'd love being able to go to a 7mm-08 sub-category, for example, if that's the only caliber I seek info on.
I know building and maintaining this site is a big job and I am truly thankful for it.
But I'd love it more if I could get this for Christmas:d
Yours,
Glen

That's a lot of categories you are suggesting be put into place.

Would likely be easier to put either a sticky, or just divide them into pistol, shotgun, and rifle calibre.

What? I come here for the laughs. Not going to chase down a gazillion sub-forums to see the wackiest questions and answers. Geez, youse guys in no fun anymore.

Hmm, only way to make it even partially navigable would be something like .10s, .20s, .30s, .40s, and .50s even then it would be a great big mess. Because someone would come along looking for 7.62x39 and be looking in the .10s forum, when in fact it's in the .30s, sheer anarchy.

Easier to focus on naming threads correctly, and using proper terms that the search engine can find.

What's the point? There are so many threads already on CGN, most folks will just end up asking reloading questions in the general, black rifle or handgun threads anyway. lol

I like the "just divide them into pistol, shotgun, and rifle calibre" idea . Perhaps 2 more categories "Gear" and "General Reloading Questions" (for anything that doesn't fit logically into one of the other categories), and its all covered.

Having said that, in all likelihood, people are just going to start their thread wherever they want and pay only moderate attention to the categories anyway.

Thanks for some of the interesting debate, except for the brain in neutral crap.
What I find a tad frustrating is the free for all posting.
I like the idea of shotgun, pistol and rifle spots. At least then I could hunt for info a bit more efficiently.
I try to look for as much info as I can before jumping on a search button and getting the "why don't you google it" response.
Being a big fan of educating and mentoring, I value the time and effort others put into offering their input.
Once again, big thanks to the site creator and all those that make it such a fun, interesting and informative place to hang out.
Regards,
Glen
