So, a few of us Brinks guys and gals were in the vault this afternoon and the topic of our incoming new duty guns came up. Needless to say, one of the computer terminals found its way to Smith & Wesson website. I saw that they have their winder promotion on again, and this time around you have your choice of $50 in rebate money or 2 mags. Website says it's only good in the US. Can any of our dealers (I'm looking at you CanAm, Frontier, and P&D) verify this? I've been putting off getting my hands on one of these for far too long, and with a February arrival date (so they tell us) for our new duty sidearms, I must get one SOON, with LOTS of mags.

I see that the price of M&Ps have risen substantially since the summer. I would like to get a couple of extra mags as well, but mine arrived a couple of months ago at the lower price. Maybe the cost of a couple of extra mags has been built into the new price? If so, get'em! I'd still like to see if I can get them for mine too. So...any stocking dealers know? Inquiring minds would like to know...and get some free stuff.

i just bought a s&w 9mm m&p and called S&W head office about this rebate. after the employee on the phone checked it out with the head people, he informed me it defintely did not apply to canada consumers. i asked him why not and he said he wasn't sure but it was a decision made by S&W

No the offer does not apply to Canadians.. This was brought up a while ago...
And I can guess that there were several issues... One the export/import of the magazines, even though the value is less then $100 the SED still needs to be filled out and this leads to higher cost... Then there is the added shipping and handling costs for money or magazines to Canada...
