Question for the target scope gurus

I have a CZ 455 FS, (high Leupold rings) and am just starting indoor 20m .22 rifle shooting. I'm looking for a good-very good target grade scope with AO (because of the short range). What are my options ? PS: I don't want to re-mortgage the house either, say $200-450 range. I'm kinda liking the Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x40 Adjustable Objective VPlex. Any suggestions?

I find that the multiplex reticle offered on the Vortex is a little thick for target work.

Find older Bushnell Elite 4000 and 4200 scopes WITH Bausch and Lomb on the labling. 6-24X42 I believe.

These are the best scopes you can buy for what you want to do and likely in the $200 to 400 range on the gunshow circuit. They are gems.

I agree with Jerry. The Bushnell 4200 6X24X40 is a lot of scope for the $$$. I am partial to the fine plex 1/4MOA dot.
