Question for Troy PAR Sporting owners

I just received a Troy P.A.R. National Sporting, which I thought was in 5.56 Nato. At least that is how it was advertised.

But while cleaning off the factory/shipping grease and oil. I notice the receiver is marked .223, and the barrel is also marked .223. If you own one, is it marked .223 or 5.56?

I did fire off an email to the vendor, as well as to Troy directly, to see if this rifle can shoot 5.56. But figured I'd ask here as well.

Troy website shows it as .223/5.56, but the rifle is only marked .223.

That's what I've heard. The fluted chamber is tough on brass. My concern is that both the barrel and receiver are marked .223, and the 5.56 is a much hotter load.

I reload my 308 brass. I have gone through 3 reloads with previously used brass that I full length size every time. Maybe the 308 Par doesn't kill the brass as bad as the 223
 
My barrel is labeled .223. I have used 5.56 in it before the caliber change.
