Hi, I have a slightly abused weatherby SA459 TR shotgun that a decided I wanted to ceramacote. Stripped down the gun and used JB weld to fill in the deep gouges in the metal and sanded them flush. Now the ceramacote i got is a bake on version, basically what I have is a stripped receiver with the magazine tube and recoil spring housing attatched, all other parts are removed. The problem is I cant fit the damn thing in my oven with the mag tube and recoil spring housing still attatched to the receiver. Both of them seem to be super duper tight. ARe any of these meant to come off? is it even possible? I can see the recoil spring housing is partially threaded which leads me to believe it can be removed but trust me when i say it is tight. ANyone ever gotten this far into a breakdown of one of these guns?
